Sealcoating

Sealcoating is applying a protective coating to a paved surface in order to prolong its integrity. It will prolong the life of your driveway by as much as 10 years if applied correctly and on a schedule of every 2 to 3 years.

We use a water-based material, which means it can easily wash off of siding, walkways and landscaping if rinsed off soon after application. We take care with your home, lawn and flower beds as we apply the product.

Coating is neatly applied to asphalt surfaces by hand for residential customers and sprayed on for commercial customers. We clean the surface to remove any debris and oil spots, fill any cracks that are less than 1/4 inch, edge any grass that has grown over the surface of the driveway and then apply by hand for driveways and small parking lots.

Sometimes your driveway is in too poor condition and sealcoating will not be possible. We come out and evaluate your driveway. If a crack is 1/4 or smaller, we can fill it.

About Weather!

Rain can wreak havoc. We can’t pave or sealcoat in wet weather because products won’t adhere to surfaces properly. That means our schedule has to fluctuate. If there is rain in the forecast, odds are we will have to reschedule our service to your driveway. We appreciate your patience. Every effort is made to honor our time estimates.

We fully warrant all sealing workmanship and materials for 1 year for chipping and peeling unless otherwise specified.

Sealcoating is a protective and cosmetic coating designed to protect the current asphalt surface from further degradation and is no way a substitute for a newly paved or resurfaced asphalt surface.

Sealcoating will not remedy low spots or hide defects in the surface. Some areas in the asphalt surface may appear rougher than the others or not coated as well, when in fact these areas have become more apparent as a result of the black coating, and the rough areas are a result of a higher stone content than sand content in that particular area, which is not an asphalt defect.
